As conservative cleansing continues, Disney has terminated Gina Carano, who plays Cara Dune on “The Mandolorian.”
Lucasfilm, a subsidiary of Disney, axed the actress Wednesday, as reported by ,
“Carano fell under heavy criticism Tuesday after she posted that ‘Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…. even by children.’
“The actor continued to say in a now-deleted post that, ‘Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?’”
Critics called for Carano’s firing before Tuesday’s tweets since she “mocked” mask-wearing and made claims about election fraud on her twitter account. Lucasfilm considers Carano’s statements dangerous, and she was correct in her assertions that Nazi Germany utilized a to ensure compliance with its abhorrent procedures.
In fact, in April of 2020, described the COVID-19 scandal in Germany as similar to the atmosphere in which neighbors in Nazi Germany turned on each other. The article by the well-established news source made the same claims, backed by history, as Carano:
“In a country where denunciation was commonplace under the Communists in East Germany and Hitler’s Nazis, police forces across the country are getting tip-offs on anything from ‘corona parties’ to people driving to weekend cottages.”
Carano didn’t say anything that isn’t true, and she didn’t say anything anti-Semitic, despite the headlines strewn about by mainstream media this week. jumped to her side and proclaimed those same sentiments.
On the contrary, in January of 2019, Disney Producer Jack Morrissey tweeted, “MAGA kids go screaming, hats first, into the wood chipper” without any recourse whatsoever. Jack even attached a graphic (the media calls it “iconic”) picture from Fargo of a human being forced into a wood chipper. Disney has never responded for comment, and Morrissey still works for the company.
James Gunn, a director for Disney, was terminated in July of after a series of old tweets were surfaced. The tweets put Carino’s tweets in perspective, which is ironic because Gunn has been busy liking tweets today that condemn Carino, who didn’t make sexual or violent comments about children, like Gunn.

“Among the tweets that forced and Marvel’s hand were: ‘I like when little boys touch me in my silly place.’
“Another: ‘The best thing about being raped is when you’re done being raped and it’s like ‘whew this feels great, not being raped!’ There were others that made satirical comments about the 9/11 attack, AIDS and the Holocaust. Yet another described a monkey masturbating on a young child, and his commentary that it made him ‘extremely happy.’”
Gunn was reinstated by Disney less than a year later because he apologized. As one describes,
“Ultimately, Gunn’s missives were poorly chosen words and not actions, though Disney’s quick trigger was completely understandable when the social media messages were first reported by outlets like Fox News.”
Ultimately, Disney and the media have declared that negative commentary about mask wearing and COVID-19 restrictions is a cancellable offense, worthy of censorship and loss of livelihood. Disney and the media have simultaneously forgiven violence towards children, pedophilia, child rape, anti-Semitism, and AIDS-shaming. The massive war against Carano and hand coddling of Morrissey and Gunn lends credence to the Q- and right wing media-driven notion that the left-driven media and major companies display tolerance for sexual relations with children and child torture while completely cancelling mask and lockdown dissenters and conservative voices.
Disney has no excuse for the disparity in tolerance for Carano and her colleagues, and therein lies the problem with cancel culture, censorship, political correctness, wokeness…
When a company, a CEO, an elected official, a both of officials, is tasked with deciding what’s acceptable speech and what isn’t, the results may be arbitrary at best. At worst, the results are catastrophic. Are we, as a society, so beaten down by COVID-19 propaganda that we have disowned a mask and lockdown dissenter while embracing those who speak horrific, violent, sexual thoughts about children?
