CNN’s Ryan Nobles reported that police asked to see inside Lauren’s bag, and she was polite but refused. Moments later, she was allowed through. It’s not clear yet if she ever let officers check her bag
Nobles also tweeted that other GOP lawmakers took issue with the new metal detectors as well.
