Denver 7 wants to know if someone could be charged criminally for knowingly transmitting COVID-19. After wildly comparing the virus to AIDS, the media source decides that someone could maybe, probably be charged. Or at least they should be charged. Apparently Denver 7 needs someone else to look into it. Or something. That’s journalism these days.
The article doesn’t really land on because COVID-19 is not that deadly. There’s a big difference between having unprotected sex with someone while infected with AIDS and subjecting someone to a virus like the flu. So the answer is no, this article makes no sense.
Nevertheless, the Denver 7 journalist is really mad that some people don’t tell their families they have a virus. The horror!
